Maker Splash

Background

Bernat Maker Splash is an colourway extension of the beginner-friendly Maker line–the same yarn with a variegated dye effect.

Because it launched in early spring, we decided to focus the graphics on the on refreshing colours and alluring textures, with callbacks of the beginner-friendly nature of the yarn.

This yarn launched with three emails:

An email about the features of the Maker line and the new colours.
An email about remaking some classic and well-loved Maker projects with the new colours of this launch.
An email about how much the fibre community loves the Maker yarn.

A few weeks later, the yarn line expanded with three neon shades. We connected the product expansion back to the Maker Splash Story, with the primary goal of displaying the new shades and the secondary goal of showing how these neon solids can pair well with the Splash colourway.
